Pumpkin Patch

We have made it a family tradition to go to Jubilee Farms Pumpkin Patch. This was our 4th time going now and always enjoy it every year. They have hay rides out to the pumpkin patch, pony rides, a working farm, farm animals, hay maze in the barn, and the best part is the pumpkin launch thing-a-majigger that throws a pumpkin high up into the sky etc.....anyhow, it is a lot of fun.

Family Reunion

We went to the Lundgreen Family Reunion (Ladds moms 5 brothers and sisters and their kids and their kids and their kids, etc(a lot of people)) this past summer in Antimony, a town in central Utah that has maybe 100 people living there (if that). It use to be my worst nightmare to go to Central Utah(being rasied in the beautiful Northwest) But, we had a lot of fun being with family and participating in the many activities they had planned for the kids. We stayed at Ladds Uncle Burns Ranch (http://www.rockinrranch.com/.com/) Here are a some pics of us enjoying being with family.

Ladd and I found it interesting how time seems to stand still when your in Southern Utah and away from our busy lives at home. It was quite nice.

Our Cow???

We are lucky to have "Grandma Sue" take our kids every friday night so we can have a date and much needed break from the week. While she was coloring with Miles and teaching him how to spell his name, She then told him she could help him learn how to spell Moms name too. Miles said in his all so serious voice and very mature face "I already know know how to spell mom" And this is what he spelled.....

Why isn't Sarah laughing????

The Beginning

So I have finally given in to this whole bloging thing....We will see how it goes. This morning while getting ready for church, Lauren said she didnt feel well. I thought she was just faking and not wanting to go to church. I made her eat a bowl of cereal and then get dressed for church. What a mean mom :) On the way to church, Lauren threw up all over the car. Ugh!!! I never have climbed to the back of the van in a dress so fast. Ladd finally found a place to pull over and helped me clean up. We went to church and I found someone to fill in for me as chorister for RS and off we were back home. Ladd went back to church to take care of his calling as Ward Librarian (why does it still make me laugh to think of him as ward librarian?)

Isabelle is asleep and Lauren is watching Sound of Music in her pajamas, thus me being bored and "inspiring" me to start this blog thing and help keep a history of our life.

So here goes.....
