The scary part is.....

So Miles is getting his helmet on AND his knee pads and wrist guards not to just ride his bike....
HE IS SO EXCITED!!!!

Our neighbor is moving and gave this to him...the handle popped off and she didnt know how to fix it....we just "popped" it back on and it works....a little too fast for my liking...15mph
But the scary part is.......

He jumped on that thing and took off with out looking back in full speed....my goodness this kid scares me! The most scary part is he had no problems figuring out how to ride it all on his own.

Not off to a good start....

Isabelle is a handful! Last week started with her getting into the pnut butter and eating it with her hands and getting it all over....then the paint incident(dumped out a gallon of paint in the basement, played in it with her hands and feet and then walked up the stairs, and got it all over the kitchen, my nice rugs and so on)...On Sunday, I fell asleep I think for a whole 2 minutes while I was feeding Sawyer on the couch and woke up to her laughing, I went to see what she was laughing about and she had dumped my "LIQUID hard to clean up..I think impossible to clean up dish soap" all over the kitchen counter.

Today, she has started the week off with grabbing a tube of Aquaphor (vaseline based stuff that is near impossible to get cleaned up) while I was on the phone and squeezed it out and wiped it all over herself. Ugh! Thats all I have to say.

Its a freaken darn good thing she is the cutest thing alive!

There is nothing like going outside to check on your kids and seeing your jogger on its side in the street and Miles trying to unbuckle Isabelle, who is screaming her head off and Miles telling her it will be ok.

I just know I have told Miles MANY times before to not push her in this stoller for this very reason....poor girl. She got her thumb smashed VERY hard last week in the door. Fell in the neighbors yard the other day and scraped up her arm and leg and now this.....Life can be hard as an almost 3 year old.

Sawyers Blessing

Sawyer was blessed this past Sunday. We were lucky to have Ladds brother John and his wife, Angi come and Ladds mom come. The kids loved having family in town.

Sawyers blessing was beautiful and of course I cried just like all my other kids blessings.

I was a little concerned about Isabelle adjusting to not being the baby as she is my most "attached to me" child I have had. Overall, she is doing great and has been my "most adjusted" child to not being the baby anymore.

She is still as cute as ever and I "yuv" her so much! She continues to amaze me with everything she does and says and I fall in love with her more and more everyday!

Yesterday she said "Mom, I yike Caillou, can I go in the t.v. and yuv him?"

She has her dad wrapped around her finger and he continues to be mesmerized by her from the moment he comes home from work till when she goes to bed!

5 years and an old blue coat.....

February 4 marked 5 years from my Dad's passing. I havent been able to write anything...I thought about it but never did...I read my sisters post about my dad and sat here and cried my eyes out this morning....now I know why I haven't posted anything....I didn't want to go their emotionally.

I love my Dad, I think about him everyday. I realized this morning that I am starting to forget the little things about him that made him my dad.

Oh how he was the best dad ever and I love him with all my heart.

All I asked for when he passed was to have his OLD blue down coat. This coat reminds me of everything about my dad....Him coming home from work in it every day, wearing it while laying on the floor with his head up against the couch watching tv, wearing his jacket because the heater didnt work while driving in the car with him listening to AM radio show begging him to listen to something else for just ONCE , wearing it while making himself toast with peanut butter and jelly caked on it and a big glass of milk....I will never forget how excited he was to always lay down on the floor and eat this while watching tv...so many more memories I have of him in this coat, he always wore it and loved it. I remember going camping with my kids and family in my parents backyard and being cold....he finally let me wear his WARM blue down jacket and I was so excited.....it smelled just like him.


My dad loves me, that I knew. He was a quiet man, except for when he was cooking his "noodles" that never had the same ingredients in them....he would sing loud in some language I could never figure out...I think it was a mix between Italian and French...or maybe he just made it up....but he was happy when he was in the kitchen and whatever he made (never with a recipe) was always delicious.

I miss you Dad....

Any of you sick of Miley/Hannah Montanna? I am. I just found this "tweens" LDS group that I am excited about. Lauren eats sleeps and breaths Hannah and I am not very fond of her lately!
